Celebrating 70 years! The NEON family came together on 14 April 2026 to commemorate our 70th anniversary at the NEON Auditorium, a significant milestone that reflects not just our legacy, but also the collective spirit that continues to drive us forward.

With the presence of our Management Team and colleagues in Singapore, alongside virtual participation from our teams across China, Japan, the US and the UK, the celebration was a true reflection of NEON’s global footprint and unity. Group CEO Mr. Ron Tan addressed the team, sharing reflections on our journey and energising everyone with a look ahead at the exciting plans in 2026 and beyond!

Another standout moment on the BBC! Following the previous feature on the BBC Breakfast Show, Ramses and the Pharaohs' Gold is once again featured on BBC Newsround, bringing the extraordinary world of Ramses II to audiences across the UK!

From towering statues to treasures from over 3,000 years ago, this feature shines a light on the scale, legacy and storytelling behind one of history’s most iconic rulers. Now on display for the first time in the UK at NEON at Battersea Power Station, this immersive experience offers a rare and powerful connection to the ancient Egyptian civilisation.

26 February 2026 marked the official opening ceremony of Ramses and the Pharaohs’ Gold at NEON at Battersea Power Station, an anticipated cultural moment for London and a significant milestone in the exhibition’s global journey.

We were deeply honoured by the presence of His Excellency Sherif Fathy, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities of Egypt; Dr. Hisham El-Leithy, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities; Mr. Ron Tan, CEO of NEON Group; together with valued partners; friends from the media, and distinguished guests. A big thank you to everyone, and to the many teams whose dedication and expertise made this landmark opening possible.

In his welcome speech, Mr. Ron Tan shared that the response from London audiences has already been overwhelming, with presold tickets far exceeding those of its previous engagement in Tokyo, which welcomed close to half a million visitors during its limited run in Japan. He highlighted NEON’s investment of over £10 million to prepare the venue to safely and beautifully host these priceless artefacts, meeting rigorous museum-grade standards and technical requirements befitting treasures of such significance. He also expressed deep pride in NEON’s continued partnership with the Egyptian government, and gratitude for the trust placed in the team to present these extraordinary antiquities here in London with the expertise, care and respect they deserve.

Following the official opening ceremony, His Excellency Sherif Fathy; Dr. Hisham El-Leithy and other distinguished guests were led on a private gallery tour, under the guidance of Mr. Dan Snow, British-Canadian historian, TV show host and lead Storyteller of the Ramses and the Pharaohs' Gold exhibition, offering rare insights into the 180 priceless artefacts on display. The journey extended beyond the galleries through our immersive VR experience, and retail space, allowing guests to fully take in the scale, scholarship and spectacle of Ramses’ legacy.

As London continues to cement its position as one of the world’s great cultural capitals, we are confident Ramses will resonate strongly with its vibrant and curious audiences. We look forward to welcoming record crowds to Get Closer™ to the enduring allure of ancient Egypt.

We’re one step closer to bringing Machu Picchu and the Golden Empires of Peru to Shanghai!

On 28 January 2026, the Shanghai Museum announced its 2026 exhibition lineup at a press conference attended by Mr. Chu Xiaobo, Director of the Shanghai Museum, and Ms. Tang Shifen, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Shanghai Museum. Among 18 major special exhibitions spanning art, history, and imagination, designed to connect past and present, East and West, Machu Picchu and the Golden Empires of Peru was officially unveiled as one of the landmark exhibitions opening in July 2026.

Marking the sixth stop in NEON’s global touring footprint, the Shanghai edition will be the largest presentation of the exhibition to date. Spanning over 16,000 square feet, it will feature more than 300 extraordinary artefacts, including 116 newly unveiled original treasures that have never before left Peru. Complementing these priceless relics, an immersive VR experience will transport visitors into the heart of the Andes, offering a powerful new way to encounter the scale, ingenuity, and spirit of ancient Peruvian civilisations.

Designed to inspire curiosity, wonder, and connection across generations, Machu Picchu and the Golden Empires of Peru promises an unforgettable journey through one of the world’s great civilisations. We’re excited to invite Shanghai audiences to experience history at an unprecedented scale when the exhibition opens in July 2026!

We are just a few days into the new year and Jurassic World: The Experience is already starting 2026 on a remarkable high by welcoming our 2,000,000th visitor at Cloud Forest, Gardens by the Bay!

In the presence of Mr Felix Loh, CEO, Gardens by the Bay, and Mr Ron Tan, Group CEO, NEON, we were delighted to celebrate this milestone on 5 January 2026 with Mr Goel and his family who had travelled from India to Singapore just a day earlier.

Their first foray into the prehistoric world was nothing short of unforgettable, from meeting our charming baby dinosaurs Para and Stiggy, to receiving a commemorative goodie bag, and an up-close encounter with Blue the raptor at her enclosure, it was an experience filled with wonder, excitement, and memories to last a lifetime.

Together with our partners at Gardens by the Bay and Universal Destinations & Experiences, NEON remains committed to pushing creative boundaries and delivering innovative, world-class attractions that continue to energise Singapore’s tourism landscape and beyond. 2025 was a year defined by ambition, momentum, and remarkable global milestones for NEON.

From the Asia Premiere of Ramses and the Gold of the Pharaohs at NEON’s Crevia Base Tokyo; to the debut of NEON’s newly minted venue at Battersea Power Station in London; and the global openings of Jurassic World: The Experience in Cloud Forest at Gardens by the Bay, Singapore; Asiatique in Bangkok, Thailand and many more, the year 2025 was one of exceptional growth and global expansion for the Group.

We also celebrated the opening of Avatar: The Experience in Madrid, Spain ahead of the global release of the much-anticipated third film in the series, and announced two new touring stops for our Cultural IP Experience, Machu Picchu and the Golden Empires of Peru, currently welcoming visitors from Tokyo, Japan to immerse themselves in the awe-inspiring world of the Inca civilisation before heading over to Shanghai, China come 2026.

In partnership with the Egypt’s Supreme Council of Antiques, NEON is proud to announce that Ramses and the Pharaohs' Gold, a spectacular international exhibition celebrating the reign, power, and legacy of Ramses the Great will be opening at NEON at Battersea Power Station in London come February 2026!

Following acclaimed runs in Paris, San Francisco, Sydney, and Tokyo, this major cultural event marks a cornerstone moment in the area’s cultural expansion and is anticipated to be one of London’s most unforgettable exhibitions of 2026.

Featuring 180 priceless artefacts and opulent treasures from the reign of Ramses and ancient Egypt including ornately carved sarcophagi, animal mummies, magnificent jewellery, stunning royal masks, and exquisite amulets, the exhibition features many objects that have never before left Egypt!
