June School Holiday -2-Day Ceramic Miniature World Workshop

Let your little ones step into a world of their own making at our 2-Day Ceramic Miniature World Workshop!
From mystical mushroom forests and prehistoric dinosaur lands to tiny sushi platters and icy arctic adventures
- If they can dream it, they can sculpt it!

Students will dive deeper into the art of ceramic making, plan and design the color scheme, and create a miniature three-dimensional world (viewable from all sides).

The Journey:

📅 Day 1 (3hrs): Getting hands-on! We’ll sculpt our miniature landscapes from raw clay.

⏳ 2-Week Wait: Our masterpieces need time to dry and head to the kiln!

📅 Day 2 (3hrs): Glaze day! Add vibrant colors and shiny finishes to bring the world to life.
Give your child the gift of a new hobby and a masterpiece they can keep forever.

Once your glazing is complete, the pieces will return to the kiln for their final high-temperature firing. Your finished masterpiece will be ready for collection approximately 1 month after the workshop, allowing for the final firing and cooling.

When Gustav Klimt meets everyone’s favorite treat! 🌟 🧋

Our AC 1 students channeled their inner Klimt to create these masterpieces. Great job, little artists". From intricate golden swirls to shimmering patterns, these Bubble Tea masterpieces are pure gold. Who knew boba could look so regal? 🧋✨

By using the "Klimt Spiral" and experimenting with gold-hued textures, students learned how to add a sense of luxury and history to modern-day subjects. From steadying their hands for those fine golden swirls to choosing patterns that express their personality, these artists are learning that art history is everywhere! 🌟🎨

⛵ Regatta Reflections: Claude Monet Meets Our Young Masters 🎨

Our AC1 students have been diving deep into the world of Impressionism! They took inspiration from Claude Monet’s serene masterpiece, "Regatta at Argenteuil," to explore the beautiful relationship between light, water, and movement.

By studying Monet’s signature broken brushstrokes and vibrant palette, our young artists learned how to capture the shimmering reflections of sailboats dancing on the water. Each piece is a unique celebration of color and a testament to their growing observation skills!
