Escape 56 invites you to join us on our 7th Anniversary celebrations as we transform a hidden industrial sanctuary into a playground for the soul. For two very special nights, step into the realm of “The Midnight Gospel,” where art and nightlife converge into a unique clubbing experience.
Day 1 (Friday, April 12th), Blackout Agency and Sivilian Affairs present to you the sonic alchemy of Rey Colino from Belgium. Boss of the prolific Kalahari Oyster Cult, a record label renowned for its timeless releases of nostalgic 90s-inspired House and Techno cuts, Rey has garnered acclaim from industry veterans and discerning music enthusiasts alike. His impeccable taste in curating quality tracks is a testament to his prowess as both a label boss and a DJ, making him a regular face at dance institutions and music festivals around the world such as Dekmantel, Horst, Love International, and many more. Joining him on the night are Robo X, Mako, and Brian on opening duties.
Day 2 (Saturday, April 13th), Blackout Agency and Fomohomo call on the highly-regarded Italian-born Berghain/Panorama Bar resident, Massimiliano Pagliara. A longstanding figurehead in Berlin’s electronic music scene, Massi has a unique talent for creating music that can be both perfect for kicking back as well as prime dance-floor pumpers. With a music style that can be described as “current-yet-classic”, Massi is known for effortlessly blending genres including house, disco, electro and techno. His unique approach led him to play at some of the most popular spaces like Tape Club, SchwuZ, Tresor, ://aboutblank and of course Berghain/Panorama Bar.
Get ready for a taste of the sounds of the Berlin underground, with opening sets by Meraki Soul, LoyBoy, and Jas.
“The Midnight Gospel” is more than just music - it’s an immersive voyage for the senses. Delve into an interactive art exhibition by “Thiscover,” where vinyl, animation, and Augmented Reality (AR) intertwine to captivate and inspire. Let trippy AR artwork transport you to new dimensions as you take a moment to explore amidst the pulsating beats of the dance floor.
