Submissions are open!
for the 4th edition of the Migrant Workers Photography Festival
organised in collaboration with the National Museum of Singapore ( )
Theme: Our Favourite Haunts
There is a place you keep going back to.
What is it that draws you there? Maybe there is an old story or urban legend about it? Is this place where you live, somewhere far away, or do you visit
it in your dreams? Whether it’s been well-loved by generations, your community, or just a circle
of friends.
We want to know about your hangout spots, local lore, ghost stories, folktales, myths
old and new - all you haunt and that haunts you!
There are two categories: Single Image, and Series (3-5 images). Entries for the Series
category will be judged based on their coherence as a body of work.
Judges will consider the photographs’ creativity and engagement with the theme.
Submissions will be open till 30 April 2026 (23:59). Submit your photos using this link:

Finalists will stand to win cash prizes and have their work exhibited at the National Museum of
Singapore from August to September 2026!
This competition is open to all migrant workers and foreign domestic workers in Singapore on a
valid Work Permit or S-Pass. Participants may use any device to take their photos, including mobile phones and cameras.
