Thanks to Nee Soon GRC, we are performing again in Yishun and this time in Yishun Central (right next to Northpoint city)!

We’ve checked the site out and it seems like a nice spooky-cute and spooky-scary event for both children and adults. The prince appears at 7.45pm, so see you there !

We are into week 4 of PAssionArts Festival 2019! 🥳🎨 More and more FUNtARTstic art villages coming up!

Join us at FUNtARTstic Storyland Light-up Edition at Field beside Rockridge Park, Yishun Street 51, this coming Saturday 27 July from 5.30-10pm!

Highlights:
*The Rubbish Prince, an interactive theatrical performance by illuminated puppets up to 3m tall. Kids are able to try on the puppet costumes made from recycled materials by Nee Soon residents
*Dress Up as Your Favourite Story Character Contest
*Art activities such as sand show animation, make your own fairy wings/masks and marbling art

A FUN event filled with exciting activities by the starry starry night! 🌟⭐️🌙

The Rubbish Prince April 2019 tour is produced under 3Pumpkin’s flagship programme, Let’s Go PLay OutSide! (LGPO), a community art engagement programme which aims to regenerate social network by bringing the expansive world of arts to neighbourhoods where children and families lack access. The neighbourhood playground is activated as the locus of social interaction.

At Lengkok Bahru, the production had the help of Beyond Social Service, South Central Community Family Service Centre, Lengkok Bahru CC and RC, NTUC Silver Circle, and the residents to create props and ground decorations. At Boon Lay and Toa Payoh, the children from LGPO helped out with publicity, area cleaning, and even protecting our actors from danger! Our youth volunteers sweated it all out, engaging the children in plenty of free play.

Thank you everyone who made the second showing of The Rubbish Prince a truly memorable community effort!

The Rubbish Prince is glad to be part of the launch of Nee Soon East's zero-waste masterplan last weekend.

We wish you all the best in implementing such an important change!

The masterplan spans two years, with a focus on several areas: plastic and single-use items, paper, carbon emissions, e-waste and food waste.. Read more at straitstimes.com.
