We celebrate 1st July as a precious gift, a day that, over the years, has built this institution that weaves together our livelihood as well as our life's mission.
ACT 3 Theatrics, 42 years on.
I am eternally grateful for those who continue to make this journey possible.
Amy J Cheng my wife, who set us on the uncharted path to use drama as tool to introduce life skills among special needs children and adults❤
Ameer Jumabhoy and Marine Lim , your generous boost and trust continues to drive this mission forward.
Sharief Bobo, Annie Chan, Rita Yahyah, Ardiana D Padillah , Anna Belle Francis for standing with us during our times of need❤
Noel Boyd , Sandy See, Yukiko Aizawa , YiKai Yap , who, these days, are helping us manage on different fronts❤
Our families, friends, actors, facilitators, production crew, children, parents, well-wishers from generations spanning decades❤
Without you all, this may have turned into a futile dream a long time ago... maybe even a nightmare❤
On that distant day, 1st July 1984, I didn't have the faintest notion that this way-of-life was even possible, and that I deserved this glorious blessing.
Rivers flow and carry you along🙏🏾🙇🏾‍♂️😃❤

To borrow a great poet's words:
"My goal in life is to unite my avocation with my vocation,
As my two eyes make one in sight." -Robert Frost-

At our favourite, Quentin's The Eurasian Restaurant.

Taking Theatre out to the people wherever they are.
The ACT 3 Theatrics mission rolling out since 1 July 1984.
From literal living rooms to bookshops to shopping centres to schools, clubs, rooftops (as in here), parks, beaches, restaurants, community homes, to palaces, to a remote village by the Mekong River, to a sprawling refugee camp in an unmarked location.....
Drama travels and comes to live regardless of place or time❤
