We were proud to partner with Objectifs–Centre for Photography and Film () as the Outreach Partner for “Artist’s Proof: Singapore at 60”.

Known for their dedication to advancing visual storytelling in Singapore, Objectifs has enabled us to extend the reach of this exhibition into the wider community, from children and seniors, to the SPED community welcomed through the support of Superhero Me.

With this collaboration, AP60 has become more than an exhibition; it is an ongoing conversation on memory, heritage, and identity, made accessible and meaningful to audiences of all backgrounds and abilities.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Mastercard for their generous sponsorship of ‘Voices and Vision’, an Art Though Leadership Symposium presented on the occasion of “Artist’s Proof: Singapore at 60”.

Beyond their global commitment to creating meaningful connections, Mastercard’s support for this exhibition underscores the vital role of corporate partnerships in shaping a thriving arts ecosystem. We were privileged to have celebrated Singapore’s 60 years of nationhood with a partner that recognises the priceless value of culture and the arts.

Text summaries of the panels are available on our website, and full video documentation is available upon written request.

Proof and Presence: Curating Singapore at 60

Two landmark exhibitions mark Singapore’s 60th year through distinct curatorial lenses. “Artist’s Proof: Singapore at 60” frames the nation as a work in progress, a living “artist’s proof” shaped by history, community, and the interplay of individual and collective narratives. “Sama Sama” gathers 60 artists and collectives in a spirit of solidarity, weaving a plural portrait of identity, culture, and belonging.

This conversation brings the curators together to share their inspirations, the artworks that anchor each show, and how art can both commemorate and question a nation’s milestones.

Kwok Kian Chow – Curator, “Artist’s Proof: Singapore at 60”
Dr Wang Ruobing – Curator, “Sama Sama”
