Where learning takes the lead and music goes beyond the notes.

The WBAS Symposium brought together renowned clinicians from around the world to share their knowledge, experiences and perspectives, united by a common goal of inspiring learning and contributing to the continued growth of the wind band community.

Through sessions such as Programming with Purpose, Musical Independence, AI in Music Education, Beyond Notes: Psychological Well-being, Identity, and Performance in Wind Bands, and interactive lab band sessions, delegates explored new ideas, meaningful conversations and practical insights that extend well beyond the rehearsal room.

A heartfelt thank you to our clinicians for so generously sharing their expertise, to our lab bands for bringing the learning to life, and to every delegate for your enthusiasm, curiosity and active participation. It is through these conversations, shared experiences and connections that our community continues to grow and inspire one another.

While the Symposium has come to an end, we hope the ideas and inspiration shared over these few days will continue to shape musicians, educators and communities for years to come.

Behind the scenes of From Score to Podium I.

Presented as part of the WBAS Symposium, From Score to Podium I was an enriching masterclass led by Dr. Colleen Richardson and Assoc. Prof. Chan Tze Law, where learning, collaboration, and the art of conducting came together.

Friendship, collaboration and a shared passion for brass music define the Arun Brass Quintet.

Formed through a university chamber music course, the ensemble brings together talented musicians from Chulalongkorn University and the Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music. What began as an academic collaboration soon grew into a lasting musical partnership, united by the joy of making music together. Today, the quintet continues to grow beyond the classroom, captivating audiences with vibrant performances, seamless ensemble playing and an enduring commitment to artistic excellence.

Youthful energy, musical passion, and a commitment to excellence define the Republic Polytechnic Wind Symphony.

Made up of dedicated student musicians, Republic Polytechnic Wind Symphony (RPWS) is driven by a shared mission to bring quality music to the community. Through regular rehearsals, performances at Republic Polytechnic events such as Open House and Reflections Arts Festival, and collaborations with both local and international ensembles, RPWS continues to grow as a vibrant musical community. Most recently, the band welcomed the Australian Youth Band for a memorable exchange during its annual Symphonie De Republique (SDR) concert, further strengthening its spirit of collaboration and cultural exchange.
