When buttermilk, pumpkin, eggplant and sweet potato look like this, you know you’re in for a treat!

Contemporary grilled bites with a unique Malaysian / South Indian influence made for so many new flavors and twists in the pl-ates!
I was blown by the addition of dry coconut in a dumpling and the Gajar halwaish - sorbet with coffee somewhere in there !

Grateful to enjoy meals with friends and discuss the perils of being influenced 😃 ( ahem Social Dilemma)

PS: A Saturday night reservation requires a 3-week advance notice !

We LOVE the theatre and Singapore offers such an opportunity with its varied visiting theatrical squads. Peter and the Wolf by is such a splendid experience- the intricate sets, the puppetry, the soul touching live orchestra, the concept of blending video with movement - the kids (and I) sat through with our jaws dropped, waiting for the next scene to unfold ! Sometimes a little comfort food can go a long way ! serves comfort food with its unique upscale “dukkah” twist.
An almost iconic establishment at Tiong Bahru, this place has never failed to deliver.
Featured here today is their Chilli Scrambled eggs (spiced with Feta dill and Sesame, on the crunchiest toast), Home made Falafel wrap and of course, my skinny cap.. hitting perfection !

What do you do when you have a Labour Day holiday in the middle of the week, you ask? Round your rambunctious bunch of kids up and take them to the beach. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast while watching the ships; tire them out with some sand play and water play. Children are invited to touch, feel and visualize packaging of the yore and today at supermarkets, home and in the food industry - With a huge wall mural of simple examples and ample opportunities for art and craft, the experience was a hit !
