Established in 1977, the Anglo-Chinese Junior College Concert Band (ACJCCB) takes pride in its illustrious history of musical excellence and distinction. It serves as a platform for its members to experience a new calibre of music-making and as a medium for them to express their passion for music. The band is renown locally and has had numerous accolades bestowed upon it, such as 1st place in the
Singapore International Band Festival 2014 and the 6th Jungfrau Music Festival held in Interlaken, Switzerland. ACJCCB holds its annual concert, MUSE and frequently takes part in other events such as the Singapore Ensemble Competition. Recently, the band has had the honour of performing at the Akasaka Palace in Tokyo, Japan in celebration of 50 years of bilateral ties between Singapore and Japan. Under the musical direction and guidance of its conductor, Mr Alvin Seville, and with the support of its alumni, the band continues to strive for excellence and truly, to be the best that it can be.
