TRIBES is opening in about a week!

Our Ethel Yap is acting in the play as a hearing girl born to deaf parents but who's also going deaf. She's invested much time researching on this group of persons (known as CODA, child of deaf adult), it's been horizon-expanding for her. She believes it's going to be a great show, both for its theatrical entertainment value, and its power to get the rest of us thinking and talking about important things, like our relationships and caring for people who are hearing impaired.

Back in 2011, The Parables Company staged an adaptation of The Little Prince. It brings such joy and nostalgia to know that this beautiful story will be adapted onto animated film. It sure looks promising. From the look of this trailer, it also likely to be very relevant for Singaporeans!
