This one’s for anyone who loves olives enough to want to wear them out 🫒

Introducing Castelvetrano: A necklace inspired by pimento-stuffed olives, but deconstructed. Handcrafted with glass, red jasper and grey freshwater pearls 🫶🏼

Honestly, these weren’t planned at all. I had the matte green seed beads set aside for something else entirely, but the moment I saw the colour, I knew they had to become this

I couldn’t stop at just one variant either, so they’ll be available with or without grey freshwater pearls! Working on a bracelet version too, so stick around if you prefer that ☺️

Catch them first at my upcoming pop-up with at Clarke Quay! Look for the booth with the seafood tower display, I’ll be there all night 🍸

I think what I love most about making things is that every now and then, I stumble across something that just clicks: a new technique, a new medium, a new idea or something else altogether

In this case, it’s the beachscape slabs you see here. The fluid, colorful details (my favorite part) weren’t planned. They came about after I was absolutely done with the failed slabs I kept ending up with and deciding that I needed to just go with the flow and try something new. And now all I want is to make even more of these (but Public Garden is next week and I need to move on to my other plans so I cannot 🥲)

I’m not gonna lie, some days it all feels repetitive. And the reality of making a living off crafting/creating is that sometimes, the ideas you love most, the ones you think will do well, just don’t. So when something does, you kinda end up making the same or similar things (‘: And it gets draining after some time (for me at least). That’s why moments like this mean so much: when I chance upon something new that also aligns deeply with what I love, I feel that renewed sense of excitement and drive. I’m reminded all over again why I decided to start this little business of mine in the first place ☺️🫶🏻

Anyway, these will be made into earrings and maybe a necklace or two for Public Garden next weekend. Marin (the beach-inspired beaded necklace in the photo) will also be back in small quantities! The colors of the beachscape slabs were mixed to match it after all. Though I’ll likely be remaking Marin with a slightly different design, so stay tuned 🌊

soft launched this new collection at a few days ago 🐤

each of these is made from scratch: a jesmonite bowl made with a specially-designed mold, covered with epoxy resin, and finally topped off with a sculpted & painted clay creature. swipe to see the rubber duck in detail!

this collection was born out of the desire to change things up, along with my love for simplicity while still ensuring that there was a certain level of detail to my work — via the lines & edges of each bowl as well as the individually-sculpted clay creatures

this particular piece features a lil rubber duck, which is nicely-contrasted against the dark blue water. one more thing i really like in particular is how still the water looks, along with the depth in the bowl due to the multiple layers of resin

i can’t wait to work on this collection even further and launch a whole range of bowls with different designs, colors, and clay pieces. will be showing the behind-the-scenes of all this via my story as well so stay tuned ☺️

hello everyone! thank you so much for making ’s christmas pop-up a good one for me once again 🫶🏻

i haven’t been very present this year because of all my other commitments, especially with it being my final year in university. but now that i’m just left with my internship to complete, i do intend to be back here as much as i can! i have so many ideas i want to try out (as you can see from the new collection i’ve been showing on my stories!), and i hope they turn out well so i can show them all to you too ☺️

thank you for making it possible for me to keep doing what i do. frankly sometimes i question the sustainability of it all because of the constantly changing trends, consumer preferences and so much more. but Sincerely, Cherise has been here for four whole years already, which is a pretty long time, so here’s to hoping i can keep it going for even longer 😌

moved houses at the start of the year, and was in awe of all the sunsets & sunrises i got to see daily. so i started taking photos of them, and eventually decided to incorporate them into one of my collections. well here they are: all painted individually & slowly in a bid to capture the many details 😌

three whole years (plus a few weeks) since this whole thing began (‘: who would have thought that what started out as an A levels coursework would turn out to be one of the biggest parts of my entire life

2021 (and the previous two years) has brought nothing but wonderful life experiences to me. yes there was fatigue and horrible burnouts from having to juggle both this and university life, but i daresay this has taught me so much. from independence (in more ways than one), to confidence, to better time management (okay maybe a little less of this 🥴), and so much more 😌

i haven’t been able to be as present and active as i used to be in 2019 because of increased school work/activities, and partly also because i’ve chosen to prioritise my mental health + make the most of my university life as much as i can but i promise to come back to this as often as i can (‘: i used to put all my attention into work back in 2019/2020 (aka year 1) and ended up neglecting so many other aspects of my life. ended up burning out way too much/often, so i guess now i’m just working on finding and maintaining balance ☺️

sometimes sincerely, cherise brings me more stress than anything because i’m dependent on this to support myself, but the joy and gratitude from seeing just how much love & support y’all have for me & my work keeps me going every time (‘: i will never not be thankful for every bit of support that y’all give me, be it in the form of a purchase or even just for taking the time to dm me or drop by my pop-ups ♥️ i’ve had the extreme fortune of meeting so many lovely people & friends the past three years and i cannot wait to see what the next few years will bring

once again, thank you so much for making this year such a lovely one for me! i can’t wait to do even better and come up with a greater range of quality works for you guys 😌 happy new year y’all; may 2022 bring nothing but joy for each and every one of you ♥️
