The Edward Becheras Choir (EBC) is a prestigious, multi-award winning, all-male choir. It has been widely regarded as a powerhouse choir in the local choral community and is acknowledged as one of the top few secondary school choirs in Singapore. Hailing from humble origins more than two decades ago, the choir has evolved into a distinguished choir, known for constantly producing quality standards
of music. Ever since achieving its first Gold With Honours (GWH) in the biannual Singapore Youth Festival (S*F) judging of Secondary School and Junior College Choirs in 1999, the choir has constantly been conferred no less than a Gold award to crown its success. The EBC prides itself on a large repertoire of choral songs, ranging from classic to modern selections and from timely to dynamic pieces, providing much exposure to various styles and types of songs. In its long running history, the choir has been invited to many regional and international competitions, holding a multitude of awards to its name. The choir is also invited to many workshops and masterclasses, honing the skill sets of its members. With the motto "Pride, Passion, Performance" at the heart of the choir, the EBC continues to provide a holistic choral experience for its members, holding hard work and play in equilibrium, and stand as a critically acclaimed choir in the choral and aesthetics community.
