Liz Kow My practice focusses on the discussion and negotiation of human experiences through ruled and "regulated" participative performances.

Across all kinds of settings, physical and digital formats, as well as timed, continuous, and durational performances. Liz's journey as a Live Artist began in 2016, when during the creation of a solo performance she realised that her creative ideas needed to go beyond a script or choreographed movement on stage. She therefore created what would later become her first solo performance, Jiak Kan Tan

g. In three minutes she expressed her frustration over her hybrid cultural identity by smearing and smashing boiled rice and potatoes on her body, face, and the floor she was performing on. Thus was her Live Art journey begun.
