The various components of this Festival – Competition, International Band Exchange, Workshops and Outreach Programme, help us to promote band activities beyond schools and provide a platform where band members of all levels continuously strive for excellence to raise the standard of bands in Singapore and abroad. Through these activities, participants will also have an opportunity to experience th

e dynamic quality present in wind music repertoire in Singapore and around the world. This competition has been carefully planned to enables band members to unleash their potential and creativity. With various divisions, bands would be able to choose and perform within their most comfortable level, allowing them to focus well throughout the learning process. Steered by an Artistic Committee made up of established music professionals from various local and international organisations and institutions, the Competition will take place at Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music concert Hall, Esplanade Concert Hall and other outdoor venues from 26 to 31 July 2016.

Congratulations DLSZ Symphonic Band for bringing home a Silver Award at the 10th Singapore International Band Festival (SIBF) 2026!

Competing alongside ensembles from across Asia, the band proudly showcased DLSZ’s musical excellence on the international stage. This achievement reflects the young musicians’ dedication, discipline, and exceptional talent.
