Our bright and beautiful studio is located on Joo Chiat Road; nestled among shophouses Chalk n Pencils is a cornucopia of paint, easels, plants, and crafts! We run a range of adult/children painting classes for all skill levels and our studio is stocked with everything you need to complete your painting project -from pencils and pastels to watercolour and oil paint. Can you believe we are already nearing the end of the term? Don’t worry though, there is still time to grab an easel and sketch with us!

We only have a handful of Guided Life Drawing sessions left. If you have been wanting to try figure drawing or just need some dedicated time to practice your fundamentals, now is the perfect time to jump in. Priscilia leads these sessions at a really comfortable pace, sharing live demos and helpful feedback so you can actually see your skills grow.

Each remaining session explores a totally different medium. Here is what is on the schedule to close out the term:
• May 21: Short N**e Poses in Ink
• May 24: Long Towel Pose in Chalk
• May 28: Short N**e Poses in Watercolour
• June 7: Short Ballerina Poses in Charcoal
When: Thursdays from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM and Sundays from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM

The Lady in Silver opens Term 2 of our Guided Life Drawing series - long poses, charcoal, and a muse worth the wait.
Lady Whistledown could not have scripted a more captivating sitting. The only scandal would be leaving your paper blank.
All are welcome in the drawing room. No chaperone required.

We had first-timers and experienced painters working side by side.

Oil painting requires different thinking than charcoal work - slower process, more planning, different problem-solving.
