Over the last week, many of you made the journey to Pulau Ubin to join us for Under Ubin Night Skies. From walking the island’s paths to sharing stories, experiences and conversations, your presence helped make this festival what it was 🫶🏼

We spoke with , producer of Under Ubin Night Skies and Artistic Director of Project 12, about the work behind the festival, why it matters, and why it is important to continue creating space for Ubin’s living heritage, communities, and stories.

Pulau Ubin has one of Singapore’s most fascinating ecologies, where many different habitats continue to exist side by side. It is also a refuge for species that are not easily found on mainland, including the greater mousedeer featured in this video.
