EN: We’ve recently had the pleasure of creating a unique animation for Unio Vini Vinoteca HUGO. We’d like to say a big thank you to them for trusting us with it.

The result is a videomapped projection that takes the viewer on a visual walkthrough of the history of the Unio Vini wines, while also highlighting the rich history of this craft throughout Romania.

The animation runs on a loop on the barrels in a wine cellar located in Alba-Iulia, where it patiently waits for its viewers, taste testers and all the visitors that stop by Vinoteca Hugo.

We’d also like to thank our collaborators, Pablo Cucchi and Margot Armengod Martínez de Lejarza for the help and the commitment to this project. Onwards and upwards!

RO: Recent am avut plăcerea de a crea o animație unică pentru echipa din spatele Unio Vini Vinoteca HUGO, cărora le mulțumim pentru încrederea acordată.

Rezultatul este o animație care duce privitorul într-o plimbare vizuală prin istoria vinurilor Unio Vini, și care evidențiază bogata istorie a acestei arte pe meleagurile României.

Animația rulează pe butoaiele din crama Unio Vini din Alba-Iulia, unde își așteaptă privitorii, degustătorii și toți vizitatorii ce vor trece pragul Unio Vini.

Mihai Baba from Biangle Studio is an international Light Artist and creator of the Ghost Ship, a high-tech art installation consisting of a life sized sailing ship reproduced as an immaterial image on water screens.

In this episode Mihai takes us on his journey from studying architecture, self learning projection mapping and how the platform of Amsterdam Light Art Festival changed the course of his career and life. Coming soon to a marina near you - especially if you’re in Singapore!

Sails Aloft, the latest artwork by Biangle Studio, will be on display for one month during the bicentennial i Light Singapore edition.



Inspired by the original sampan panjang of the Orang Laut and by its later racing variations, Sails Aloft is a holographic installation that creates a snapshot of a 19th Century Singaporean sailboat race.

📣 The Ghost Ship is in Liverpool! 📣
It is one of 18 tall ships in the Three Festivals Tall Ships Regatta 2018 – the 10th anniversary of Liverpool’s year as European Capital of Culture. You can see the Ghost Ship every night in Salthouse Dock, on display from 9:30 pm - 12:00 am until Monday 28 May.
PS: It’s visibile from both sides! 👀
