We are so thankful for the well-wishes and appreciation notes that both visitors and artists have shared with us over the last two weeks. Here are some of them from emails, texts, FB & IG messages -

[A] – These are wonderful artworks and I’d definitely share the photos of these beautiful exhibits with my friends on Facebook

[M] – Thank you for organising this beautiful exhibition! We definitely enjoyed the artworks!

[S] – Thank you for this wonderful and fun opportunity to perform music and dance in public!

[T] – The paintings and sculptures just keep making me go wow wow wow in my heart. Tomorrow is the last day of the exhibition. Highly recommend everyone to go and see all the beautiful artwork.

[Artist Meley Law] – How do I feel? Impacted, moved, thankful, grateful. An emotional journey that is indescribable, bound in waves of thanksgiving. I believe the 100+ artworks exhibited by the 50 artists all tell a unique story because we all are unique. We all are Beautifully Made ❤️ (translated from Chinese).

[Artist Showcase #13]

Lam Tung Sang’s medium of choice is photography where he captures breathtaking moments inspired by God’s creation. Flame of Cloud is one such expression of his art, light scattered across different spectrums painting the clouds a reddish hue.

It’s the last two days of Beautifully Made and a great line-up of programmes and live music performances await you today and tomorrow!

A heartfelt sharing by artist Hei Tian Shuo, who in spite of his visual challenges, made his way from Shandong, China to attend the opening ceremony of Beautifully Made.

Born in 1959, Geng Jiayong lost his sight in 1995 due to overexertion from his painting sessions. He became a Christian later and his confidence was restored and he continues his art journey till this day.

His artist name Hei Tian Shuo - "Hei Tian" means the dark environment the blind are in, and the Chinese character "烁" consisting of "火" (or fire) and "乐" (or joy) symbolising that blind people are happy when they touch God.

[Artist Showcase #12]

Yu Geraldine's piece Echoes of Van Gogh’s work - Sunflowers pays homage to the classic by the Dutch painter, with the Fibonacci sequence visible through the ray and disc florets of the sunflower painting when viewed up close.

With 5 more days remaining in the exhibition, come witness the laws of creation in her painting and many other beautiful artworks at Beautifully Made till the 20th Oct.
