Girls Girls Girls is a bold, funny and deeply human piece of verbatim theatre, drawn from real voices across generations of q***r women in Singapore. It brings stories we rarely hear on our stages into the light with honesty, heart and courage.

Like all LGBTQ+-themed productions in Singapore, this brand-new play receives no government funding or support. At Wild Rice, we depend on your generosity to tell these important stories with courage and care.

To bring this production fully to life, Wild Rice needs to raise $50,000 to break even. If you believe in theatre that speaks to our shared humanity, please consider making a donation in support of this production. Every gift matters, and will go a long way in helping us to shine a spotlight on the lives of q***r women in Singapore.

As Wild Rice is a registered charity, donations of $50 and above entitle you to 250% tax deduction. If you have any questions or require more information, please get in touch with Sharon at [email protected].

Interested in the art and craft of theatre-making? If youโ€™re aged 13 to 17 years old, come audition to join Wild Rice for the 2026 edition of Singapore Youth Theatre! ๐Ÿš€

The Singapore Youth Theatre programme is a holistic programme that has been designed especially to inspire and empower young people through theatre-making. Our mission is to provide a platform for youths to make and present theatre that speaks to and for people of their own generation.

Over 10 months, participants will gain hands-on experience of the full theatre-making process, from writing and devising to performing their own writing. Each participant will write and develop their own scene as part of a collectively devised, vignette-style production.

At the end of the programme, participants will stage and perform an original production under the guidance and direction of a professional creative team.

No prior acting or theatre-making experience is necessary. All you need is a drive and passion for theatre, a willingness to learn, and the ability to commit to the schedule/requirements of this 10-month programme.

๐Ÿ“† Application deadline: 15 June 2026

After multiple sold-out shows in 2022 and 2024, Singaporeโ€™s sharpest funnyman is back with this one-of-a-kind comedy that has attained critical and commercial success.

In a semi-improvised comedic monologue, Rishi Budhrani, the first stand-up comedian invited to host the National Day Parade (2022), the voice of Sammy on the award-winning Netflix animated series, Downstairs, and a seasoned pro on Comedy Central Asia, has amassed a bunch of material, inspired by his fatherโ€™s own journey, to create an original, heartfelt and funny tale, made-to-measure.

A Singaporean tailor takes you through his time in this country as a business owner for over 4 decades. He sees things like nobody else does and he regales us with stories of dealing with the โ€œMat-sallehโ€™sโ€ from different parts of the world, and how he fought to survive through the Gulf War, SARS, the Asian Financial Crisis, and most recently, the pandemic.

He does all this while making you laugh, becoming your friend, and, most importantly, trying to make you a suit.

In every sense, this is truly a tailor-made Singaporean story.

"Can I Make You A Suit, Mate?" was first presented by Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay for Kalaa Utsavam - Indian Festival of Arts 2022.

26 performances later, we've officially closed The Christians! ๐Ÿ’›

Thank you all for coming to church with us and for being a part of our congregation these past few weeks. It has been a privilege to share this play with you.

To our incredible company of The Christians, onstage and off: thank you for the honesty, care, and craft you brought to every performance.

Lucas Hnath's powerful play asks hard questions and offers no easy answers. It asks us to hold space for doubt, for disagreement, for the people we love who see the world differently. We hope the play has made room in you for doubt, for questioning, and for grace, and to see each other with a little more empathy.

The love and support you've shown this production has meant the world to us. Thank you. ๐Ÿ™

โ›ช๏ธ "A church is a place where people go to see something that is very difficult to see. A place where the invisible is โ€“ at least for a moment โ€“ made visible. The theatre can be that too." โ€” Lucas Hnath
