It’s the last day of showing . Sharing some pictures from the exhibition.

I’m so very happy different cultures got to witness a very local (Singapore) piece of work. Since it’s first showing, this piece inspired by my desire to create experiential and healing art, have been viewed by people in USA, UK and now also in Italy. Feedback has ranged from it being β€œemotionally powerful” to it being β€œmeditative”.

Really happy for to be selected as part of the 10 video art performances to be exhibited in 15th Contemporary Venice at Palazzo Albrizzi-Capello, Venice | July 04 – 19, 2024.

I’d never dream to travel with my projects and this film has just been allowing me to do that, and I am amazed and also learning a lot through the whole process.

Congrats to all artists involved, and special thanks to .walk.down.avery.lane for co-sponsoring my entry to this wonderful event.

A podcast interview I did sometime back. For the most part I still find it awkward talking about my creative processes, be it as a writer, director or actress. Many times I think, huh, why talk so much about it? Just let the work do the talking, whether it’s good or bad it’s up to the viewer. It didn’t matter to me whether people understood anything beyond the work itself. But after many years in the industry, I realise that was just me being lazy and awkward about sharing. I don’t like it, but now start to see the value of doing so.
