About Constellations: The play follows the lives, loves and tribulations of Roland, a beekeeper, and Marianne, a cosmologist. Roland and Marianne meet at a barbecue and become romantically involved. After they've moved in together, a confession of infidelity causes them to break up, eventually they resume the relationship. In time, Marianne falls ill and takes a crucial decision with Roland’s support.
Marianne often waxes poetic about cosmology, quantum mechanics, string theory and the belief that there are multiple universes that pull and push people's lives in various directions. Where as Rolland is happy being a simpleton who enjoys being just a beekeeper and being there for Marianne.
We follow the central romance between Marianne and Roland through its possibilities, not neatly from beginning to end but through a multiverse of simultaneous moments.
