This Halloween, it's time to get SPUKI 🧟

We're keeping things local here: so dress up like a (supernatural) baddie of the Southeast Asian persuasion, and bring us your best True Singapore Ghost Stories. Tell us about what you saw at that Pasir Ris chalet, or who joined you on that 2AM cab ride home, or what happened to your uncle during the seventh month 🫣

Best costume and ghost story stand to win prizes 🍚🩸🌑 🕸️📿🪞🧧 Bonus points for Mr. Midnight references!

Our usual programming of alllll the genres will continue, but we want to hear all your SPUKI tales too 🕯🌙🧛🏽🧞🔮🧹🖤 Scared to go alone? Grab a friend and sign up for our slots https://ticketer.sg/Event/EventDetail/ec2hHB39/Spuki

Join our HOUSE OF MIRRORS, where we'll reflect as we enter the third quarter of the year. Can you look inward? Are you overwhelmed by all the distortions? Does the person in the mirror look alright to you?

Whether you're ready for these questions or not, come down and hang with us. Maybe everyone else's answers and art will help you make sense of the year thus far! Maybe not. Mirror mirror, on the wall, who's the clearest of them all?

Snag your open mic slot now and let loose your introspections and reflections! All mediums, genres and artists are welcome.

d**k returns to the stage with ila ila and laetitia!

Laetitia Keok is a writer and editor from Singapore. ila ila's research centres on peripheral narratives surrounding identity, space and histories, particularly looking at kinships with land and water bodies. ⁣She does art sometimes.

the stakes for being an artist have never been higher. the people need art! apathy and passivity are at an all-time high! it's MAY-KE OR BREAK: it's up to you to save the day with your art. whether it's a dance to inspire dreaming, a story to bring us back to each other, or a song to rouse the fallen, come show us what you've got. you have the key to saving us all: be silly, be vulnerable, be loud!

this march, we have Kansh, Cara Ow, and Stephanie Dogfoot repping d**k on the Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay stage! what are they doing exactly with grapes 🍇 and a cicak 🦎? you’ll have to drop by to find out 🤪

Stephanie Dogfoot is a spoken word poet and multi-disciplinary performer. She is the author of the poetry collection Roadkill for Beginners (Math Paper Press 2019) and a co-editor of EXHALE: An Anthology of Q***r Singapore Voices (Math Paper Press 2021). She is also the founder of a monthly poetry open mic called Spoke & Bird. She can be found on instagram and twitter at .

Kansh - a shape-shifter; alchemizing. They are a multi-disciplinary artist whose goal is to be a renaissance man, but a non-binary and Southeast Asian equivalent of that. Creating is their form of catharsis, expression and also as a process of decolonising. Their works are their own cosmic daydream through experimenting with different forms.

Cara is a Gemini Sun, Moon and Scorpio Rising. They are a lesser trilingual who mainly writes in English, currently interested in ideas of miscommunication and connection. Some of Cara’s works can be found in BooksActually’s My Lot is A Sky, Eggbox Publishing’s Undertone and Underline and Exactly Foundation’s Entau Tak Tahu, among others. Most recently, reclamation, their poem published in The Tiger Moth Review, was awarded Second Place in the 2021 Hawker Prize for Southeast Asian Poetry.

nature IS healing! d**k is now back from the void, and hopefully you are too. show us what you’ve been up to and where the void has taken you: a hidden universe? fighting off zombie astronauts? chilling with the aliens? terraforming a new planet for our species’ survival?

d**k made it out the other side of the void a little different: this time round we’ll be featuring 5 performers. ask for open mic slots at the door on the day itself.

all artists & mediums welcome 🪅
