Pathey nimidam 2022 concluded yesterday. Over the last few days, I experienced some of the most remarkable moments of my life. Thanks to each and everyone who encouraged me to take to stage to tell my story. Oxygen 95 tells the story of my mother’s passing due to Covid. She was on her own when she fought a losing battle at the hospital, and deeply missed her children. Her children were desperate to be with her but couldn’t do so. I got on stage to tell the story of my loss, regret and reconciliation. Theatre is therapeutic.

The much-awaited pathey nimidam went on stage this weekend. I got to interact with the theatre community like never before. I am deeply thankful for the support and words of affirmation that i received from one and all.

I had taken up a difficult project- to face my deepest regret. Initially It was difficult to pen it down. Soon the pen acquired a life of its own, and before I knew, words gushed down to the paper. I was terrified by what I had written. But when these words hit the stage, they were therapeutic.

Today was the deadline for submitting the complete draft of our play to playwrightscommune. I spent the week writing but today was something else. The play took a new turn and that amazed me! Hope you all like it, Team playwrights commune!
