As part of retaining the multicultural heritage found in Singapore, PNAICI wants to educate and enrich the community on various cultural matters through events such as seminars, workshops
and competitions.

From such activities, we can increase cultural engagement outside of your comfort zone as well as outside of your cultural pool. This way, more ethnicities can interact and come to appreciate and learn about cultures other than their own. Which will help in preserving your own and other heritage through quality research and documentation for publication.

We will be having many upcoming activities and events towards our mission. So please do keep an eye out and make sure to follow us closely!

During our launch on 30th December 2020, the President of PNAICI, Mr Wan Hussain, had some welcoming words to say. Presented by Secretary General, Mr Muhammad Mazlan.

He hopes that PNAICI will not be just for the Malay community of Singapore, but to the multicultural community as well.

To encourage cultural diversity among Singapore’s society in honour of our first, First Lady, Mdm Puan Noor Aishah, the person this organisation is named after. Her life long work has been to represent and care for all Singaporeans of all races and cultures. And likewise, we would like to carry on that motto as well.

Watch on to hear more encouraging words of wisdom from Mr Wan Hussain! We wish everyone a happy and pleasant New Year.

Puan Noor Aishah Intercultural Institute (PNAICI) aims to preserve different cultural heritage while educating the community about different ethnic groups in Singapore.

Named after the first and the only First Lady of Singapore, Mdm Puan Noor Aishah, who has contributed much to the role of running the Istana and being the face of the commonwealth in the early years, even after the first President of Singapore, Yusof Ishak’s passing.

In her honour, we would like to preserve the South East Asian heritage in Singapore while educating the common public.
