The Oscar (Astronotus Ocellatus) is a species of fish from the cichlid family. Their main home is in the tropics of South America. Its considered a popular Fish pet in Europe and the U.S. Woah!! Now its in my house 🤓. They grow to about 45 cm (18 in) in length and 1.6 kilograms (3.5 lb) in weight. Yummy 😈. Kidding 😝. Oscars will often lay claim to an area of the aquarium and will be very aggressive towards other fish encroaching on their newly established territory inside the aquarium or lake. Like humans with their houses 🏘 .
