Next up -

Bringing the electric energy of Shanghai’s cocktail scene to Singapore, our 4th event reunites two bartenders who, together with our Co-Founder JiaWei, once honed under the mentorship of Steve Schnieder and Shingo Gokan. Not to be missed.

* Pony Up | Dre Yang: Cut from the cloth of Shanghai’s elite cocktail circuit, Dre honed his craft at legendary institutions Speak Low and The Odd Couple, where he served as Head Bartender. In 2024, he struck out on his own to launch Pony Up, a high-octane venue that immediately clinched Best New Bar at the prestigious DRiNK Awards.

* Speak Low | Kris Du: An absolute institution in Asia’s bar scene, bar manager Kris Du represents Speak Low – a legendary, three-storey Prohibition-style speakeasy that clinched the #10 spot on The World’s 50 Best Bars. Hidden behind a secret door in a bar-tools boutique, Speak Low’s world-class ex*****on and New York-meets-Shanghai swagger have made it a global benchmark for mixology since 2014.

Kickstarting the anniversary celebrations is a powerhouse trio of good buddies, brought together by their love for bartending.

* Bar Wu (Taipei) | Kae Yin Kae Yin: A bar without a name, “無” (Wu) translates to nothingness. Founded by legendary bartender Kae Yin (who placed 3rd globally in the 2012 Diageo World Class), the venue operates as a brilliant social experiment. Stripped of a formal name or menu, Wu relies purely on an obsessive respect for classic cocktails and Taiwanese ingredients.

* HiBoRu (Taipei) | Mark Huang Mark Huang: Co-founder Mark Huang – the illustrious 2011 Diageo World Class Global Winner – brings the electric energy of HiBoRu to Singapore. Named after the highball, the bar masterfully blends Showa-era nostalgia with a uniquely Taiwanese twist, a formula that earned them the prestigious Restaurant and Bar of the Year at the 2025 Taiwan Bar Industry Awards.

* Voice-Over (Kaohsiung) | Red Chuang Red Chuang: Representing Kaohsiung, founder Red Chuang brings the cinematic charm of Voice-Over. Stay Gold Flamingo has always been about a bar where people could be reminded to stay true to their roots, and be the best version of themselves. The weight of the world disappears at the entrance.

To celebrate half a decade, we are bringing some of our closest industry pals from award-winning bars across Asia. Join us as we welcome these legendary bartenders behind the bar (some of the@ bartenders has graced our bar before and is back!)

The marathon concludes on Thursday, 24th September, as we crank the volume all the way up for the ultimate throwdown: Stay Gold’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Anniversary Party!
