The Solitude Movement the solitude movement is a theatre collective in Singapore.

Through the creation of original works for the Chinese language theatre scene, the solitude movement aspires to tell meaningful stories that resonate.

Following the success of 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑴𝒐𝒐𝒏 𝑴𝒊𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏, The Solitude Movement returns with a brand new original story featuring the God of the Kitchen, 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒑𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝑴𝒊𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 🌶️🔥

She’s been hunting high and low for that perfect sambal belacan — shiok, spicy, and just like how she thinks she remembers it.
But when the God of the Kitchen shows up? Wah, things really start to sizzle.
This heartwarming tale stirs up more than just chilli — it’s a story of family, love, and the kind of perseverance that keeps a recipe (and a dream) alive.

Three Sisters has concluded a successful run at .sg!

We would like to thank all our audiences, donors, and supporters for their incredible support. Thank you for laughing and crying with the middle child in the space. Her heart is filled with joy, love, and gratitude, which she will carry with her on her upcoming trip with her mom.

No, there will not be a part 2 or 3 to the story (she hopes).

𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙎𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨 travel to Tokyo for their first trip together. The common denominators in their lives - a loveless home, an unspoken fear towards one another, and a genetic predisposition to cancer. A touristy Matcha Experience unravels everything, but in this family, the step after unraveling is not re-building, but lies that conceal other lies.

Written and performed by Teo Pei Si this original work picks at the seams of families that appear functional on the outside, and the circle of lies that both protects and destroys them.
