A killer weekend of comedy last weekend. We had a bunch of visiting acts from Malaysia tear up a storm on stage. Keren Bala Devan, Mikhail and Brian Tan were back in SG in there doomed-to-fail quest to one day get Singapore PR. Helming the night was the host with the most, Shawn Chua. Rounding up the night, we had Jon Jalim, Vivaan, Aswin and Eugene Soh

The ECC monthly showcase is back! The first edition last month was standing room only and was a wild success. We're back with another fresh lineup of the funniest comedians in Singapore looking to murder!

This month's lineup :

We had a full house for the very first showcase last month and it was an epic show.

This month's lineup:

Jacky Ng (SG) : Jacky Ng is easily his generation's best comedian. One of the funniest dudes ever from Singapore, he's one of our favourite comics at East Coast Comedy. Jacky has headlined Comedy Masala, The Lemon Stand, East Coast Comedy, The Merry Lion and has performed all over Asia.

Aman Alhamid (SG) : One of the most talented and hilarious comedy-magicians in Asia, Aman combines the best of comedy and magic to create very special moments. An Asia Got Talent finalist, Aman has sold out his comedy-magic special at the Esplanade multiple times and has created some of the most spontaneous funniest moments on stage.

Eugene Soh (SG) : Quick-witted and unapologetically honest, Eugene brings sharp observations and unexpected punchlines to the stage. Blending real-life stories with razor-sharp humor, they’ve been cracking up audiences everywhere. In his words, "I am the storm that is approaching." Sometimes, it's a light drizzle but we admire his chutzpah

Vivaan Seth (SG) : Vivaan was a finalist at the Singapore International Comedy Contest, is a back-to-back Roast Champion. He has opened for Bernice Ye, Rajasekhar Mamidanna & Jamali Maddix as well as opening for Dr. Jason Leong (Netflix). Vivaan has performed across Singapore, the US, Argentina, Germany, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam.

Prem John (SG) : Prem made it onto netflix before any other Singaporean comedian did. Unfortunately, it was for his ability to take a machete to the head and die admirably on screen. Prem has been tearing up the SG comedy scene since 2020. He's opened for Dr Jason Leong, Fakkah Fuzz, Rishi Budhrani just this year alone. Made his Happy Ever Laughter debut in 2024 and was brought back in 2025. Has headlined twice at Comedy Masala, The Lemon Stand, The Projector.

The Headline Series by East Coast Comedy showcases the very best of the Singapore & International standup comedy scene.

East Coast Comedy presents Eugene Soh (SG) for a great night of comedy at Monk's Brew Club right in the heart of the East Coast.

Eugene started comedy right before Covid. His timing has always been perfect.

He's Singapore's answer to the question, "What would Chinese privilege look like on stage?"

Eugene is right now in that glorious space where he's soon either gonna be a household comedy name or he'll be starting a podcast about the glorious benefits of Vitamin C instead of vaccination.

Right now, he has some of the best jokes in the scene. His observations about Singapore, life, relationships, old people have people rolling in the aisles. He's funny lah..come support.

Eugene has headlined at The Lemon Stand and Comedy Masala. He's performed in Indonesia, Sydney, Melbourne and Vietnam. Notably, he's opened for Rishi Budhrani, Azeem Banatwalla, Fakkah Fuzz, Deepak Chandran.

Time

Doors Open at 7 p.m at Monk's Brew Club right in the heart of the Joo Chiat. The show will start approximately at 8:00 p.m with a short intermission of 15 mins and the whole programme will end by 9:45 p.m.
