My Beloved Son, 2021.

It's been busy with bits and bobs in life and working on quite a few commissioned mixed media art pieces lately. But I wanted to capture how I felt when we recently celebrated my son's 5th birthday.

He's truly a little bit of me, and a little bit of his dad, and a lot that is uniquely him. He may still be a wee young man, but there's so much that he is, right now, that makes us so proud.

All our love, our embrace, our blessings and our hopes to you, son.

Blessed Monday, friends! ๐ŸŒผ We had the most beautiful evening and picnic dinner out at East Coast Beach yesterday with our friends. The weather forecast and skies threatened to rain on our parade, but in the end...it was just cool breeze that welcomed us straight into dusk. ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’™

This piece was inspired by lots of pretty mix of pastel soft skies and fine sandy beach with vibrant bold colours from the tropical fauna here in Singapore. Decided to try out a different "pen" this time - colour pencil. And I really like the effect it has. Will likely use it more often. ๐Ÿ˜Œ
