For Project Dreamcatchers 2024:
- An Elegy for yet another Skin (2024) -

Mixed-media installation, Live performance at National Gallery Singapore

My work comprises of apparel/artefacts (‘Epi’) used in the performance (‘Emergence’), which are suspended in the eventual installation (‘Elegy’).

Through the cathartic molting of 'Epi', I reveal each layer symbolising a former iteration of my life. As I venerate the vestiges of my past self during "Emergence", it culminates in 'Elegy'—a memento mori bearing witness to my deeply personal journey of recurring metamorphoses.

Viewers are invited to contemplate how the duality of embracing impermanence alongside the beauty of existentialism fuels our drive to evolve.
