UHKYUHKY'S WATERCOLOR JOURNEY — BEFORE BREATHE
Heavily Influenced by the Masters in the Beginning
This is Amman, Jordan — from my Before BREATHE archive.
Before BREATHE, I was learning to let go.
Pure Western Masters influence here: backlit haze over limestone hills, wires cutting the dusty sky, blue and red cars half-lost in light and traffic, that yellow cab burning in the sun.
No Eastern silence yet. Just lessons: how to keep color alive while everything else dissolves, how to let the road shine wet, how to let people be just a suggestion.
After 30+ years of interior design precision, this was my unlearning.
BREATHE came later — when I fused that Western light with Eastern principles of air and emptiness.
Trimmed gallery white, true pigment, ½ sheet texture intact.
