In Episode 12 of 𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗗𝗗𝗜𝗧𝗬 (𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗲 𝘅 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱) Season 2, we feature 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗫𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝗼𝗻𝗴, a versatile musician passionate about cross-genre collaboration and the exploration of diverse musical traditions. Trained in Western classical piano and the Chinese guzheng, Xin Tong’s artistic practice weaves together multiple musical worlds. Having collaborated with musicians from across the globe, she firmly believes in music’s power to cultivate understanding and connection among people. Joining her is 𝗝𝗼 𝗧𝗮𝗻, an award-winning actor and playwright celebrated for her acclaimed works King, Forked, and Session Zero. Her plays have toured internationally — with King staged in Malaysia, Sydney, and Edinburgh — and Por Por’s Big Fat Surprise Wedding co-headlining Adelaide’s OzAsia Festival. Jo also co-created Dungeons and Distractions with Edward Choy, a live Dungeons and Dragons game complete with fight choreography and received several sold-out stagings.
