We are delighted to unveil MORE THAN SEEN, marking Japanese artist Akio Takimoto’s first presentation in Singapore. What is revealed when we lookβ€”and what continues to remain beyond sight?

In an age saturated with images, screens and endlessly circulating information, seeing is often mistaken for knowing. Yet every image conceals as much as it reveals; every surface holds another layer, another possibility, another presence waiting to unfold.

Through experimental printing, shifting acrylic structures and interactive scratch surfaces, Takimoto transforms the act of looking into a living negotiation between the visible and the unseen. His works cannot be encountered from a single, fixed position. They ask the viewer to move, to touch, to question and to unveil, slowly, what has been protected beneath the surface.

Here, revelation is never complete. An image changes with our position. Information emerges through our actions. What appears absent may simply be waiting for another way of seeing.

MORE THAN SEEN invites us to linger at this threshold: between analogue and digital, surface and depth, concealment and revelation. It asks not only what we see, but how we see, and what might remain unseen when we believe we have already seen everything.

Five clay artists at different phases of their visual arts careers represent unique aspects of botanic nature in this special show. There will be minuscule things like the microscopic cells and peony petals as well as underground tuberous roots and fragmented ruinations. Each element conveys a narrative from a time past and present. They commemorate biological objects that once exist within our ecological surroundings. By bringing models of these organisms and relics into the gallery space, this exhibition appeals to viewers through a sense of relations and connections with mother nature.

F.E.S. // R.A.M. explores memory, nostalgia, and popular culture through the visual language of childhood games, cartoons, toys, and mass-produced media. Drawing from personal recollections and shared cultural experiences, the exhibition revisits the images, stories, and objects that shaped a generation. Often dismissed as low culture or disposable entertainment, these artifacts carry deep emotional and cultural significance. For many working- and middle-class communities, affordable toys, imitation merchandise, and accessible forms of entertainment became important markers of identity, aspiration, and belonging. F.E.S. // R.A.M. reimagines these fading memories as meaningful cultural artifacts. The distinctions between high and low culture that celebrates the role of popular media in shaping personal histories while preserving the joy, imagination, and authenticity of nostalgic experience.

Through site-specific installation and visual intervention, the exhibition reflects on desensitisation, emotional distance, and the normalisation of violence in contemporary society.

Intentionally situated within the gallery’s washroom, RED EARTH challenges conventional exhibition spaces through irony and discomfort. The placement reflects on privilege, complacency, and the emotional distance many hold toward the realities faced by victims of war.
