ππ» This batch was made to celebrate Ratanakosin 200th years anniversary of Rattanakosin period. One of the main tasks on that occasion was the restoration of the Temple of the Emerald Buddha with Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn is the president of the ceremony.
This set of Rian Phra Kaew are for fundraising for this cause. Hundreds of monks from all over the country performed the Puttapisek Ceremony at the Wat Phra Kaew. Listed below are some of the famous guru monks.
The first consecration ceremony took place on 13 July B.E.2524 at the Ubosot of Wat Phra Kaew by 10 famous guru monks consisting of:
1. Somdet Phra Yannasamvara Wat Bowonniwet Vihara, Bangkok
2. Phramongkhonratchamuni (Supot Chotipalo), Wat Suthat Thepwararam, Bangkok
3. Phra Ratcha Sangworayan (Sanit Thirasinittho), Silakantaram Temple, Pho Thong District, Ang Thong Province
4. Luang Phor Thira, Wat Palelai, Suphan Buri Province
5. Luang Phor Uttama, Wat Wang Wiwekaram, Kanchanaburi Province
6. Luang Phor Juan Wat Phra Phutthabat Khao Luk Chang, Phetchaburi Province
7. Luang Phor Sud, Wat Kalong, Samut Sakhon Province
8. Luang Phor Thong Yu, Wat Mai Nong Pha Ong, Samut Sakhon Province
9. Phra Khru Pradit Nawakan, Wang Manao Temple, Ratchaburi Province
10. Phra Ajarn Phongchinda) Wat Chakkawat Rajawas, Bangkok
In B.E.2525, 2nd consecration ceremony was held and attended by many famous guru monks which include:
