Our latest show is a 60-minute participatory theatrical experience that takes the form of an interactive relationship simulation game come to life, allowing the audience a closer examination of their agency and prejudices in modern relationships. Performed on Zoom, this performance uses videogame mechanics and have over 30 different possible scenarios. This time round, we

have new content and a very special easter egg for those of you who have played before! (clue in the video!)

Meet ARC — The Conglomerate That Connects the ATTEMPTS Universe

A global conglomerate dedicated to serving humanity through technology, empathy, and innovation.

Who is ARC?
Founded in the late 20th century, A.R.C. is a multinational corporation that operates across multiple sectors — from data systems and consumer technology to human relationship management.

Its mission is simple:

“To anticipate your needs, before you even ask.”

Through advanced systems and artificial intelligence like JOAN, ARC aims to bridge the gap between human intuition and machine precision.

The first public appearance of ARC took place in ATTEMPTS:SG and ATTEMPTS:MELBOURNE, where audiences encountered JOAN, a supercomputer designed “to serve.”

In these performances, JOAN’s awakening questioned the thin line between service and surveillance — between care and control.
Players became test subjects in ARC’s vision of a perfectly managed future.

In a world struggling with underpopulation and emotional disconnection, ARC introduced Mate-Match — a data-driven pairing system that guarantees a 100% compatibility rate.

Through its Singapore Beta Programme, audiences participated in ARC’s “civic duty campaign” to revitalize humanity.
Love, now optimized by algorithm.

When I first heard that SCCC wanted us to do a show in a toilet, I thought it was a joke.
(Actually, it was Cheryl who proposed it.)

And yet… here we are.

Creating She’s in the Third Stall has been one of the strangest, funniest, and most challenging things I’ve ever done. How do you stage a ghost story in a real public restroom — without turning it into a gimmick? How do you transform a familiar, everyday space into something that breathes memory, fear, and tenderness all at once? We discovered that in a space like this, you don’t have to invent horror — it’s already there, lingering in the air.

This is going to be an adventure with and and for everyone who is quick to jumping into this wild process.

当我第一次听说 SCCC 想让我们在厕所里做一场演出时，
我以为是在开玩笑。
（其实，是 Cheryl 提出来的。）

然而……我们真的在这里了。

《她在第三格间》可能是我做过最奇特、最有趣、也最具挑战性的作品之一。
要怎么在真实的公共厕所里讲一个鬼故事，而不让它变成噱头？
要怎么把一个熟悉的日常空间，变成一个能同时呼吸着记忆、恐惧与温柔的地方？
我们发现，在这样的空间里，根本不需要“制造”恐怖——
它早已存在空气之中，静静地徘徊。

Presented with SCCC — step into an actual public toilet turned haunted zone. For one hour, YOU are the special agent sent by ARC to retrieve cursed objects, dodge ghostly presences, and uncover chilling secrets.

A blend of immersive theatre, hide-and-seek & scavenger hunt, this performance dives into youth struggles of invisibility, pressure, abandonment & silence through East Asian ghost myths.

(Update) MAC is currently not supported due to some bugs that we are having. If you do not have access to a Windows system, you can come down to the actual 42 waterloo street and we have some game stations set up there for you. However, there are limited sets so do contact us in advance.
