Weekend 2 gave us plenty to see, try and experience ✨ From Teochew opera performances by Chinese Opera Studio to Bhakti by Shantha Ratii Initiatives, plus hands-on workshops that brought traditional arts even closer. 

🏮For the final weekend, get hands-on with Japanese origami lamp-making by the Japanese Cultural Society Singapore, and catch captivating performances by Ding Yi Music Company, Bhaskar’s Arts Academy and Traditional Arts Centre.

Ding Yi Music Company is no stranger to big moments. A long-time resident of Arts House Group, they spent 7️⃣ years at Goodman Arts Centre before moving to their current home at Stamford Arts Centre 6️⃣ years ago. Since then, they’ve brought their music to stages around the world. 🌏

Meet ANTZ, the artist behind the community mural at A Date with Tradition.

This year, ANTZ collaborated with inmate artists from the Visual Arts Hub and Arts Behind Bars to create the design for this year’s mural, in support of Yellow Ribbon Project and inclusivity within the community.
