We run on the desire to provide artists - and anyone exploring publication options- with a choice beyond the prevailing, conventional printing processes. This alternative centers on Risograph, a relatively inexpensive technique that employs stencil duplication to yield prints in either standard or fluorescent colours. Risograph has been around for decades, but it looks set to win over legions of d

esigners and publishers with its charming print quality. And it makes sense: while Risograph offers the same colours as offset printing, the minimum print is incredibly low, and the swift automation serves as a reprieve from the tediousness of silk-screening. The vegetable-based inks also possess a degree of translucency that facilitates overprinting, and are notably environment-friendly. For art students, independent publishers, and retailers alike, Knuckles & Notch exhibits great potential for gradients, patterning, and blending without setting pockets ablaze. Most importantly, every copy will be beautifully inked as pieces of art in their own right.

FEELING BURNT OUT IN A WORLD THAT KEEPS ASKING YOU TO BE MORE THAN HUMAN!??🧟‍♀️🤖🫀

HI ALL! We’re back with more riso fun after a short workshop hiatus 🕯️🫠 This time, we’re hosting an exclusive risograph poster making workshop to make space, slow down, and reset for Apr/May.

As a creative studio and riso press, we’re constantly juggling everything from creative work, admin, studio-keeping and everything in-between 🧠🫠 Even when we love what we do, it can take a toll on our physical, mental health over time.

Maybe we’re not meant to be productivity machines or perfectly put together social beings all the time, even if capitalism keeps telling us otherwise 🤖💥📈🏧

This workshop is a chance to slow down, make messy, weird, soft, structure, chaotic, nonsensical, funny, cute, or strange art, and just be you. Anything goes while we sip tea or kopi 💗✨

Tea, light refreshments, and space to rest a little.
Come hang, learn risograph, browse books/zines, and get lost in print, colour, and your makings 🖨️🎨🪴

This month, the European Union Film Festival (EUFF) marks its 35th edition, a milestone shaped by enduring friendship, collaboration, and decades of partnership. We were commissioned to create an artwork that reflects this 35-year journey, a visual expression of connections formed over time through people, stories, architecture, and landscapes 📖🎞️🎬🏬👵🏻🧬🖼️🏔️

There is something quietly profound in these moments of cultural exchange, a bridge that is subtle yet resolute, spanning differences. Film has long been a vessel for human experience, carrying imagination and perspective across borders, reminding us of what we hold in common. Festivals such as EUFF continue to honour this role, creating space for dialogue and celebrating storytelling as a shared language that reaches across continents 🌊🌍🧬

It’s November and you know what that means: monsoon season is on the horizon! ⛈️🐸 No fear, we have plenty of fun things for y’all to do indoors, where you can soak up some of our cozy warmth and enjoy a premium, AC grade breeze 🍭☂️ Firstable, we hear you loud and clear🧏, our workshops are coming back this month AND next month too! ✨ To celebrate the end of the year, and to get started manifesting for the new one, we will be creating our own 2026 calendars! Keep your eyes peeled for more details on that. 🤲🗓️🧘

Next up we have an exhibition with the gang from Hailing all the way from Mexico City, they’ve cooked up some sick work for us - including a delightful little interactive sculpture that you will simply have to come and see for yourselves. 🇲🇽🖨
