Breath & Sound Journey with Maria & Fholke

What to expect
Our offering will invite you to Sit in stillness and allow everything but the breath to subside. We will shape the breath to affect the mind and use the mind to create spaciousness in which we will rest and be guided on a journey inwards with the vibrations from a smörgåsbord of instruments and vocal sounds. They will sweep you away if you let them.

Eco-Printing with Ronak Rabiee and Olof Nilsson at Alkemist Atelier

What to expect
Join this eco-printing workshop where we use leaves and flowers to create unique
prints on fabric. You will learn the basic process step by step.

No experience is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to explore. Each participant
will leave with their own handmade, nature-inspired piece. 🌿

More von Dir was born on the edge of cultures and genres. Both players - Endre and Oliver - are classically trained musicians but they venture further away every day, trying to show what two cellists can do.

Their repertoire consists of classical music, jazz, pop, rock, but what they really search for is the twist, the hidden pearl, the unusual and they even give guidance to their pieces, to help the audience’s attention grab onto something solid.

Nature Hairstyling with Salong Barret

Come and get your hair styled using materials from nature. With leaves, branches, flowers, and found elements, we create organic, playful hairstyles.

Each styling is created in the moment and becomes a unique personal expression. Visitors can either be styled by us or take part in creating their own looks in our self-styling area.

This is a free activity, open to both children and adults. You are warmly invited to bring leaves, branches, or flowers you’d like to use in your own styling.

Storytelling Workshop with Katrice Horsley
Are you curious about storytelling ? Would you like to learn some of the skills involved? If so, come and Step Into Storytelling!

The workshop is lead by Katrice Horsley, the former National Storytelling Laureate of the UK. She will share how you can quickly memorise stories and make them engaging both for you and your listeners.

You will discover the importance of the 4 R’s - Rhythm, Repetition, Rhyme and Rest. Whether you are interested in performing to adults or children, you will come away with a richer knowledge and a whole new skill set.

Katrice Horsley is a narrative strategist and storyteller whose work is rooted in a belief that words and stories are vital to how we make sense of ourselves and the world. She has performed at major festivals including Glastonbury Festival, The Wilderness Festival, Hay Literary Festival, Cheltenham Literary Festival and Birmingham Book Festival, and is a regular at Festival at the Edge, the UK’s largest storytelling festival.

Make an Organ Pipe with Peter Kobayashi-Pålsson

What to expect
In this workshop you can learn how to make a wooden organ pipe of the same kind found in church organs. The workshop involves working both in wood and leather using traditional methods and hand tools. Every participant will (hopefully) leave the workshop with their own organ pipe and a small insight in the craft of organbuilding.

Trevize is coming to Silva!

Trevize is the project of Francesco Barletta, born in 1989, an electronic music producer and sound engineer from Puglia. He combines folk roots, electronic experimentation and global influences.

In his live performances, he offers a In his live performances, he offers a performative and interactive set with Giovanni Chirico on wind instruments and Federico Laganà on percussion, where Apulian tradition and electronic music intertwine, winning over both folk music lovers and fans of electronic and worldbeat music.
