3 day festival of music, art and community. Silva Festival • Unnaryd, Sweden • 9th - 11th of July

03/08/2026

Do you have an interest in traditional building craftsmanship? Then Stolpverk Norden’s Summer Guild is for you! The event will take place on August 13-16 at the Silva Festival site and is truly something wood craft enthusiasts don’t want to miss.

Over the course of the weekend, you’ll find workshops and lectures on and relating to timber framing, study visits, an open mic, and plenty of good company and festivities. Families are warmly welcome and only pay for meals plus a small entrance fee.

Maybe you noticed the beautiful timber frame structure at our festival in July? This was built during the Kesurokai project in 2025, and some of the very same timber framers who were part of Kesurokai will be hosting workshops and activities at the Summer guild.

Welcome!

For the next three minutes, we invite you to step back into a small piece of the magic we shared at this year’s Silva Festival.

Of course, it’s impossible to capture three days filled with more than 50 events, countless moments of love, lakeside swims, community, creativity, music, dancing, celebration, and gathering around multiple stages. Impossible to fully describe how the forest became a place where life, in all its beautiful forms, came together.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who joined us. To every volunteer who co-created this experience. To everyone who filled the forest with laughter, music, curiosity, and kindness. And to our incredible kitchen team, who nourished us with so much locally grown food and so much love.

It will take us many days to truly take it all in.
We already look forward to meeting you again in one year’s time, when we’ll once again create a little more magic together.

If you were there, we’d love to hear from you. What was your most magical moment at Silva Festival?

With love,
Silva Festival

We are really stoked to present our collaboration with Classes Disco Service, who not only provide music for us but also host the DJ stage and deliver their fantastic sound system, along with several of the DJs performing at the festival!

When it comes to disco service, it is incredibly important to choose the right products for the right purpose. The body and soul are intricate machines, and each part requires its specific lubricant. Did you know, for example, that genuine house music is the only thing that can give your joints a good shine and elasticity? That top-quality disco is necessary to keep your smile lines in shape throughout your entire life?

At Classe’s Disco Service, you can trust that knowledgeable staff will do everything to take care of your well-being, both physically and spiritually. Let the professionals do the job and let Classe’s do your disco.

Silva Festival is arranged in collaboration with Musik Hallandia, Region Halland and Sensus with support from the Swedish Arts Council.

Paint Your Journey with Pearl Brunings

What to expect
Paint Your Journey is a creative art workshop that combines artistic expression with personal reflection. It is inspired by the Maluwana, a traditional circular wooden disc used by the Wayana Indigenous people from Suriname, decorated with symbolic imagery that represents stories, challenges, and protection.

In this workshop, participants are invited to translate their own life experiences, emotions, or inner journey into a personal artwork on a round wooden disc. The workshop is suitable for anyone, regardless of artistic experience, and provides a calm, supportive, and creative environment where personal storytelling and visual art come together.

Please note that some activities and workshops require you to pre-register. You will find more information on our website.

Our camping upgrades for camping vehicles are unfortunately completely sold out and we don’t have capacity to release more. Time to get your tent groove on people! The weather forecast is looking sunny and dry so it will be fantastic either way!

DJ Grindmaster Flesh - aka Hampus - has been active as a DJ for over 20 years. Before rooting in Unnaryd he used to have his base in Gothenburg were he frequently played in the city’s clubs and venues. For this year’s Silva, he has promised to pack his record bag full of high-energy soul, funky rock, irresistibly groovy disco, and perhaps the occasional obscure boogaloo gem. It certainly will be a wild time…or as we say here in Sweden: ”klackarna i taket”!!! ⚡️🎉💃🕺🏼🎉⚡️

Silva Festival is an experience for everyone.

There’s something truly magical about watching children dance freely beneath the trees, explore, create in workshops, and pop popcorn over an open fire.

Here, nature becomes the playground, and every smile becomes part of the story.

Only a few tickets remain.
