This was recorded a couple of years ago, but it’s finally out on Spotify.

A lot of the work that ends up on my desk tends to be Metal (for obvious reasons), but I really enjoy working across different genres. This session was with a great Rockabilly band who recorded pretty much live in the room.

Fantastic musicianship, killer vocals, and the kind of energy you only get when people play together.

The final mix ended up almost entirely mono, and no effects were used at all.

Just great players, good microphones, and a room doing its job.

Fun session.
