WORLD-CLASS GUITAR FESTIVAL IN UPPSALA!

What a fantastic weekend at the Uppsala International Guitar Festival!

A huge tribute to Klaus Pontvik, founder and Festival Director, and his team for creating such an outstanding annual event. The atmosphere, the musicians, the craftsmanship and the opportunities to connect make this a truly world-class festival. More people from the international guitar industry should experience it!

For us at True Temperament, it was a wonderful opportunity to catch up and have inspiring conversations with Jack Gardiner, Henrik Linder, Kiko Loureiro and Per Nilsson, as well as master luthier Heikki Rousu and our longtime partner Anders Mattisson of Mattisson Bass.

It was especially rewarding to see our True Temperament frets and instruments featured in several clinics, and to receive so much positive feedback on the growing number of acoustic guitars equipped with our fretting system.

With exceptional instruments from makers such as Rousu Guitars, Sandén Guitars, Furch Guitars and others now reaching the market, it’s exciting to see True Temperament finding its place in the acoustic guitar world too.

Thank you, Uppsala! An incredible celebration of guitars, music, innovation and the people who bring it all together.

The weekend after the next I’m heading to OctoberFrets in Jakobstad, Finland.

There will be a Freak Guitar Clinic and also a chance to try out some of the Freak Guitar Labs ULV guitars during the day.

Saturday 10 October, Jugendsalen, 10:00–17:00.

Hope to see my Finnish freak friends there!
