A place where national and international companies are able to concentrate on their creations, in a calm environment in the middle of nature, detached from the rhythm of the city. Vitlycke-CPA is a place where rehearse and create, but also where to present both informal showings and finished works, open to an audience. The studio is 16 m long x 14 m wide and 5.40 high and it can be transformed it
into a black box -with black sliding curtains, black dance linoleum, bars for lightning, light&sound equipment and a movable tribune for the audience. Vitlycke-CPA dedicates time to project focusing on education. The yearly program includes workshops; intensive summer school and intensive coaching projects, with selected groups of participants. Guest teachers, choreographers, theatre directors and dramaturges are invited to hold workshops and to share their reflections and experiences on the creative process. Vitlycke-CPA organizes also residencies/projects related to visual arts, music & film, martial arts, new circus, youth, literature, new media&internet communication. Vitlycke -CPA is based in Tanumshede (Sweden). The location is quite ideal, being almost right in the middle between Oslo and Goteborg, in the country side, just beside the Vitlycke Museum, in a UNESCO protected area, visited for it's famous Bronze Age stone carvings.
