I haven’t been feeling great lately. Zero energy to create. Navigating the Swedish healthcare system, scoliosis quirks, CVI symptoms, chronic fatigue, and the darkening days on top of all. It’s been a lot. Plus, I had a dentist appointment yesterday and had a horrible reaction to the injection. Super fun!

Anyway, I managed to pull together a completely spontaneous collage today. I love these colors together.

A few collected objects, mostly pre-loved, an older artwork of mine, and a new one.

​Remembering the good old days of this platform, when everything felt slower, more intentional, and honest. Back when we didn't have to act, constantly create content, or show our faces.

This was the beginning of the Grid Collection, two years ago.

I was excited to discover that I could get a unique look, texture, and depth with just lokta paper and some diluted acrylic paint. The process was not that easy though. Countless repetitions of cutting, arranging, and gluing paper. Tiny pieces of squares and rectangles, which would eventually turn into a whole body of work in the next two years. Did I know where it was leading at that time, when I was just experimenting? Definitely not. But I'm glad I did, I'm glad I let myself play with this idea, which slowly became a signature language in my work.
