RESIDENS. 30 mars-5 april är Matilda Bilberg och Jenna Hendry på DansPlats Skog. Här kommer en hälsning från dem och deras arbete just nu:
Dear Dansplats Skog,
Slowly and softly, we are setting the ground for our new project to take shape. A project we are lucky to be supported, among others, by you and a co-production by CCN Ballet du Nord in Roubaix (France).
Throughout our long-term collaboration, we kept asking ourselves how we can, through the art of choreography, facilitate and practice different ways of co-existing within the uncertainty created by external forces such as politics and environmental issues.
Our common curiosity about how to come and be together has brought us here to your beautiful church. For this week, we aim to develop methods for creation through embodied exploration in parallel with interviews.
How do interviews unravel in our moving minds and bodies? How can interviews be choreographic encounters?
Thank you, dear Dansplats Skog, for holding space so our bodies can unfold, our sensations pass through, and our imaginations wander.
