This is the third page of 4
The Fourth will have to wait though, its not fully done.
Next to this page was my yellow-pants girl with green jacket, so this one was easy.
You barely see it, but i also wrote the lyrics of the soundtrack to my Childhood best Disney movie. Brother bear. I wrote it in the Swedish version "Krafter". Super nostalgic and sometimes it still gives me goosebumps.

Here's the second page of 4
Each page I tried to match the page next in my sketchbook, but this one was hardest to match because the page opposite was alot of black, white and copper, which was colours I was lacking in my paper Scrap collection. So i tried to match the Skin colour and lipstick instead.
Scrap booking was really fun, and the page was easy to fill. Each page got a different sketch over it all, which made the page more "me".
Highly recommend saving paper and random stuff 🤩

The last day on the Vedic art class i decided to try scrapbooking. I went through my almost full sketchbook and found some missed pages. So i took my stasch with old paper and washi tape. This is one of 4 pages i made. And this one was a challenge for me, i really REALLY dont like pink. But I had soooo much stuff in pink hues so i tried to go outside my comfort zone. Im happy with the result, but its not my style. Or, well the Heron is my style at least 😅

Had a blast making this one 😍
Though I'm having an hard time deciding if I should leave the background white, or have something more. But for now this one will rest. I'll know when i know.

Its a mix between a Blue Heron and a Purple Heron. I also tried being more loose with my strokes, and being fine that its not perfect. During the class where I made this one we talked alot about being perfectly imperfect, both in our paintings but also in life. Be kinder to yourself and forget about what other people think.

I thiiiink this one is done, maybe...
Such a fun exercise. During the last course i went on we had to cover the whole painting with one colour, any colour. If you got an impuls to ad something, just start!
I covered an old painting with red, and i didn't even finish the first layer with red until my impuls came.
With this one I actually used a palette knife and credit card, which is not usually what i use. It was fun and quick. I have been experimented more and more with abstract, it is a fun palette cleanser

This painting is far from done, but i want to show you how far i've come.
This painting is only for myself. An old sketch that just happened by accident, and it just felt like "yes, this is the one". The sketch is 4 years old now, and the first layer on this painting is 3. I struggled alot to get my idea down so i dropped the project.
Then one day i just felt like Now its time, now I'm ready. My vision was clearer and I had new energy to take the fight.
It feels like this is my truest form of "my art" i can reach. And when the day comes this one will be finished, i will frame it with gold and hang it proudly in the center of my home

I would like to continue give you guys music tips. Though i don't remember what i listened to when i painted this one.
Cullen Vance is a great, happy musician that had made my sometimes gloomy days a bit happier. Irish folkmusic that makes you giggle

Between the headbanging to Unprocessed album "...And everything in between" this painting was made.
I partially painted over an old finger painting and played around, highlighting some old parts, made some new details and layered, layered, layered. This one is a bit smaller than its big brother, only 50x40cm.
I loved glazing with both Prussian blue, permanent blue violet and phthalo green.
In the end i think the painting is a tad bit too cute for my taste, but I'm still happy with the result.

And of course, i highly recommended Unprocessed. Maybe not for everybody, but if you like prog-metal, you should listen to them. My favorites are:
Hell, Glass, , abysm, purgatory. And from their other albums i like:
The longing, sacrifice me, snowlover, deadrose and Dark silence & complete

This big painting (80x60cm) is from when i was on a Vedic art course before the summerbreak. I painted over an old painting with prussian blue, and that got me to loooove the colour, and I will never again buy any other blue than Prussian blue
It was an hot spring weekend so i painted this one outside. The process was an experiment. Every idea i got, i painted it on. Abstract art is really new territory for me so I just played around and had alot of fun.

And a few weeks back, it got a blue little brother

Like a mirror, I will be disgusted and look away.
But also the raw edges that make you so beautiful.
The pills make me numb, like a ragdoll.
Jumping between all the so called friends.
I can't connect, I can't take in.
I'm like running water, flowing away.
An heartless body"

When you momentarily feel you can create in a calm state.
Its hard for me. Either I'm hyper, almost in an euphoria, or the complete opposite, judgemental, harsch and often battling with performance anxiety.
With this one i just had a calm almost childlike experimenting feeling and just watch the colours move around. I used watercolour indigo and plastic wrap as a base, then layered it with more indigo and cobalt gray (a colour that granulate alot and creates beautiful variations)
The poem I finished with is from 2021 and had saved in my phone.
