DEAR COMMUNITY 📣 💜

We are facing financial hindrances due to low bookings and are in a situation that we might have to cancel the event.

In order to make YENKO DANCE CAMP vol 3 happen
we need more sign ups 🎟️

Please share the event to your fellow dancers and friends, buy a class as a birthday gift to your buddy, and most importantly IF YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO JOIN: BOOK IT! ✨

We will take the final decision this Friday whether the event can be organized or not. We really want to make it happen, and to keep giving these possibilities to the community.

In the event of cancellation, the tickets purchased will be refunded.

LAPREE LALA ✖️ YENKO DANCE CAMP

Lapree Lala is a professional dancer from Dublin, Ireland and the founder of Southside Moves. She has contributed to the African dance scene around the world with her multi-disciplinery artistry and is truly dedicated to promoting the culture, engaging and educating the community and fostering integration through dance.

At Yenko Dance Camp Lapree will be sharing foundations and history of Amapiano topped with a choreography.

KARIM ✖️ Y3NKO DANCE CAMP

Karim embodies West African dance’s rhythmic energy and storytelling, while Daouda and Seckou’s traditional Guinean drum grooves create the pulsating drive that elevates every step. Together, they bridge folkloric dances with Conakry’s scenic ballet tradition

Traditional dance from Guinée Conakry is deeply intertwined with daily life, ceremonies and music - where drums like the djembe and dundun drive the rhythms and invite communal participation.

MOIKANA ✖️ YENKO DANCE CAMP

Moikana is a versatile professional dancer, born in Luanda, Angola and based in Portugal. Her goal is to expand her culture and highlight the roots of her journey.

Today, as a dancer, choreographer, and dance instructor, Moikana is considered one of the most influential figures in the PALOP (Portuguese-speaking African countries) dance
scene and beyond.

Barro is a renowned dance instructor, choreographer, and trainer originally from Gabon, based in France. He is a key figure in the urban dance scene and one of the visionary creators of Afro Jazzé Dance.
