Stockholm Art Week A celebration of Stockholm’s vibrant art scene. Stockholm Art Week is an annual event showcasing Sweden as an art destination and Stockholm as a city for art.

Leading institutions, museums, fairs, and other participants will arrange special events during the week.

Stockholm Art Week 14 - 19 May 2024. Stockholm Art Week includes fairs, exhibits, and art events all held during one week. The art fair - Market Art Fair will be arranged during this period. Many of the city’s museums, institutions, and art exhibition venues will arran

Three out of four Swedes believe that art and culture are essential to an open society.

At the same time, half say they want to experience more art – but don’t. Many are asking for more contexts, more opportunities to meet.

This according to a Novus survey conducted on behalf of Stockholm Art Week. The interest is there. But we need to come closer.

Through Stockholm Art Week, we aim to open up the city and highlight the strength of its art scene. In the exhibition Welcome to my art town, we present contemporary artists based in Sweden and create new entry points into art.
