And just like that... after two days of auditions, three months of rehearsals and five sold out shows, Little Town Liars: A Halloween Musical draws to a close. From the bottom of my heart, I want to say thank you to everyone who made this possible.

To the ridiculously talented cast for all the hours of hard work and passion they put in to make this show what it became. Most of the best jokes came from them. Their dedication, enthusiasm and advocacy for this project was everything and it would not have been a success without each and every one of you. I love you all.

To our production manager, Jennifer A. Svensson Tovrea, for her unwavering support throughout the entire process, for cracking the whip and keeping us all in check. For baking us pumpkin pie and keeping our tea and coffee stocks full. Your enthusiasm and dedication to the project has been amazing and we honestly couldn't have done it without you.

To our pianist, Stina Smör Boberg. You put in so much hard work and more hours than I think most of us realise. Your enthusiasm and positive attitude was inspiring and we love you for it!

To Olympiateatern for having us. For being cute, homely, humble and intimate, and being the perfect type of space for a first version of this show.

To Gabe, our front of house/production assistant for being a trooper and helping us with anything and everything during performance week.

To Bos Hans Håkansson and Will, our fab lighting team. For coming in at the last minute and lighting up our lives (quite literally).

To Johan Mörk for reaching out to this weird nobody from New Zealand and offering to help in anyway you could. Your trust in me and this project kept everything a float during times of stress or self-doubt.

To Sonia for jumping up and taking on the challenge of costuming 12 people in 1950s outfits!

To our casting assistant, Emily. With your help, we picked a pretty goddamn good team of people, huh!

To Magnus for your stunning photography (more coming soon to yellowshaped.com).

To Aeroshop Graphic for their amazing poster design!

To every who lent us props, costumes, set pieces or supported us in some way. There are too many to name but you know who you are.

To Gabriel Wagnberg and all the partners out there who had our backs as we put together this ridiculous show! For making sure we ate properly and putting up with our occasional exhaustion-induced mood swings.

To Terri Hopton (mum), Claire, Suzanne and everyone else who travelled from far away to see the show.

And lastly, to everyone who purchased a ticket, came to the theatre, sat in those seats and laughed, clapped and cheered for us! To sell out all five shows when you're a new theatre company that no-one has heard of before was so unexpected and such an incredible feeling. The reviews, messages and feedback we're receiving is truly humbling. Every night was utterly electrifying and we had so much fun. Thank you so much for your support.

We'll be back.

Watch this space.

With love,

Josh and the Yellow-Shaped team

Our very own Joakim Tidermark (who plays bad boy Billy Peterson in Little Town Liars) co-hosts Moderskeppet podcast, a punk-esque exploration of art and pop culture. In this week's episode, Joakim interviews our director/writer, Josh Hopton-Stewart after a few post-showcase beers 🍻 Listen below (interview in English starting at 1 min 30 seconds):

Vi diskuterar "the square", men först berättar vi om vår inspirationsvecka och delar med oss av våra bästa psykedeliska och känsloeggande konstnärer vi ägnat oss åt senaste tiden. Joppe gör en liten i
