Stockholm Fringe Festival is back for its 17th edition, 26–30 Aug, filled with performances in all its known and unknown forms – moving, clashing, questioning and transforming as it unfolds. Presented by local and international artists with nerve, vision and bold ex*****on.

Welcome to the Nordics wildest platform for global arts. Tickets drop in late June.

Presented with support from the Kulturrådet, Region Stockholm, Stockholms Stad and Konstnärsnämnden. Part of Baltic Nordic Fringe Network (BNFN), Transit Kulturinkubator & World Fringe.

While we prepare the program for the 17th edition of Stockholm Fringe Festival, there’s another exciting festival about to hit the dance spaces and stages of the Swedish Capital!

👉 Don’t miss STHLM DANS, which runs from the 5th to the 13th of May across 10 different locations. 👈

FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHT: TESTO with WET MESS (UK) at DANSENS HUS, which brings d**e lust, moustache meals and a choreography of guttural sexuality!

ABOUT: In TESTO, Wet Mess messifies life’s messiness with teeth and one chin hair, exploring transitions, testosterone, the edges of drag, the blurry line between performance and reality, character and self, and the magical in the mundane. Enter the computer of confused edges, for some primal force, an overload of images – where the made-up s**t becomes real.

A high-energy and upbeat dance class featuring moves inspired by Ballroom, Latin and Disco dancing at 100BPM to move and groove towards collective joy, with Jessica Barber. No need to pre-register! Just show up and step in.

Dear Fringe Lovers! 💚💚💚
In a world growing ever more unsettled, culture rises as both refuge and resistance. The 16th Stockholm Fringe Festival has taken its bow, but the courage, stories and fearless art of 2025 will resonate long after the lights dim.

This year, 172 creatives staged nearly 200 performances across 60 projects in every imaginable genre. To every artist who gave Fringe its unique voice – thank you, and may your onward journeys be bold! A special cheer goes to those continuing south to Gothenburg Fringe as part of the Baltic Nordic Fringe Network.

Gratitude also to Intercult and our Digital On Stage creators, to Transit Kulturinkubatorn, and to all our partners and supporters who made participation possible.

To our curious audiences – thank you for leaping into the unexpected with open minds. To our venues – thank you for saying yes and making space for international and local talent. To our record-breaking core team and tireless volunteers – you are the heartbeat of this festival.

We salute the international producers from Catania, Hollywood, Milano, Montreal and New York who travelled to join our Fringe Awards Jury. And finally, deep thanks to our funding bodies – the Swedish Arts Council, City of Stockholm and Region Stockholm – for keeping the Fringe flame alive.
