Here’s a little background on me, in case you’re wondering: Who the fck is ALICE?* 😉
Well, my name is Karin Alice Bjurström. I’m a textile designer and artist, and I’ve been running my brand ALICE FINE since 2010. What started as a womenswear label has evolved into a deep dive into plant dyed patterns and textile art.
What do I do?
I specialize in botanical dyeing and bundle dye techniques, mostly applied on silk kimonos or interior design. I spend my time experimenting with plants, flowers, and leaves to create vibrant patterns without harmful chemicals. 🌸
